Release focus

VoxGuard 4.8.21 improved voice-session recovery, logout and location cleanup, conversation organization, and administrator audit access. These changes are included in the current 4.8.23 internal build.

This baseline was not a public app-store release. Wider availability remains a separate release-owner decision.

Changes

User-visible changes

Conversations can be archived per user and restored without deleting shared message history.
PTT waits for a confirmed voice-channel join and offers an actionable Retry state when joining fails.
An ended session returns to login after orderly cleanup instead of leaving stale operational state.
Sign-out and account switching remove stale location and audio state while preserving a returning user's fresh location.
Administrators can open the audit log directly and filter events with clearer categories.

Verification

Validation summary

Voice cold-start simulator smoke passed 20/20 scenarios.
Logout, relaunch, and location cleanup scenarios passed across two users.
Authorization, protected backend, Edge Function, admin, and documentation checks passed.
The release baseline was later incorporated into the current 4.8.23 internal build.
