Release focus

VoxGuard 4.8.22 strengthened long-running PTT sessions, controlled expiry recovery, and Android foreground-service lifecycle handling. These changes are included in the current 4.8.23 internal build.

This baseline was not a public app-store release. Wider availability remains a separate release-owner decision.

Changes

User-visible changes

An active Android PTT session remains user-visible through a persistent notification and the VoxGuard status-bar icon.
Active PTT sessions refresh voice access before it expires.
An expiry-related disconnect makes one controlled reconnection attempt.
A failed recovery leaves an honest Retry state instead of reporting a false success.
Returning to VoxGuard revalidates the selected voice session and its Android background protection.

Verification

Validation summary

Focused token-refresh, teardown, resume, and foreground-service regression suites passed.
Android start, stop, resume, and relaunch transitions were hardened against overlapping lifecycle events.
The release baseline was superseded by and incorporated into the corrected 4.8.23 internal store build.
